Physiotherapy in Traralgon

What is the difference between us and a clinic that offers the traditional model of physiotherapy?
  • Longer appointment times than the industry standard – this means we get to spend more time with you
  • We see you, and only you during the session
  • Dedicated gym space with equipment to demonstrate your rehabilitation exercises and run rehabilitation sessions
  • Individualised treatment plans so that you have an understanding of your problem, and what we think you should to achieve your goals
  • A focus on using state of the art equipment (strength testing equipment, apps for your exercise programs etc)
  • We know when, and who to refer you to if we don’t think we’re the right people to help with your concerns (we don’t keep asking you to come back for the sake of it). We have access to the best of the best in each profession for referrals.

Beyond the Standard: Elevating Physio Care for Your Complete Journey – From Pain Relief to Empowered Success.

We believe that you deserve;

To individualise treatment for you, a comprehensive history will be taken of your current injury or problem, your previous injuries/surgeries, goals, medications, beliefs, occupation, physical activity levels and general health. Some questions might be sent through before your consultation to help with preparing for your session.

During the assessment, we might ask you to expose the painful area so that we are able to view any muscle bulk differences, subtle movements or other signs of pathology. We use the latest technology to be able to objectively measure your strength and how you move during your painful tasks, so we ask that you bring comfortable clothing to your sessions.

A treatment plan will be created collaboratively with your physiotherapist on the way to best manage your presentation.

Treatment options can include education about managing/changing your exercise or work load, rehab exercises, hands-on treatment such as joint mobilisations and massage, clinical rehabilitation sessions, or hydrotherapy.

Yes – physiotherapy is covered under most private health insurances, however we recommend checking with your specific private health insurances to avoid disappointment.

Our initial consultations are 45minutes long to allow more time for our patients to tell their stories. Subsequent consultations are 30-40minutes long, depending on your needs.

We believe that a collaborative approach to your care allows you to have the best outcome possible. Involving your GP or specialist allows us to make decisions on your care that may not be possible without their input. It also allows them to have an understanding of potential future issues that you present to them for.

This depends on your symptoms, goals, general health and contributing factors. For example, it might take a longer period of rehabilitation for a long-standing injury, or if you have a high number of contributors to your pain such as decreased strength, movement control, mobility etc.
